My name is William Tseng, and I am a freshman majoring in AI for Business from New York. As of now, the only other involvement I have is the Marshall Entertainment Association. In high school, I took on a leadership role in the following activities: Founder & President of Film Club, Varsity Rowing, Secretary for Coding Club, Analyst for Economics & Finance Club, Treasurer for French Honor Society, Tutor for the Peer Responder Mentor Program, Violinist & Pianist. I love watching Movies and I’m potentially looking into doing Filmmaking as a hobby. I’m passionate when it comes to discussing films with friends. Additionally, I love watching and playing basketball, especially with friends. And I’m looking to get into Tennis! As a lover of movies, growing up seeing movies about AI being a threat to humanity always seemed funny and cliche to me. But as I dived deeper into how AI plays in our everyday lives, it became apparent to me that AI is not meant to replace us, but it’s meant to be a tool for us. That concept and how AI will continue to advance our society intrigued me. And as a major of BUAI, it gave the perfect opportunity to turn my curiosity into my passion.
